SAHB receives architectural design award

On Friday, November 10, the Cincinnati chapter of the American Institute of Architects presented the Cincinnati firm of Baxter, Hodell, Donnelly, and Preston (BHDP) with an award of merit for their design of the RWC Science and Allied Health Building. Other awards went to the Corryville Community Center, the UC coal facility on Eden Avenue, and the Pleasant St. improvements at Findlay Market. The BHDP architects are honored to receive this award in a field commanded by community projects.

“When we started construction of the new building in 1998, we knew that we would be literally changing the face of the campus, and we were excited about the attention our transformation might bring to Raymond Walters,” said RWC Dean Barbara Bardes. “It’s gratifying for the building, and our architects from BHDP, to be recognized by the experts in the field.”

Baxter, Hodell, Donnelly, and Preston is also the design firm for the Muntz Hall Phase I renovation project, which is scheduled for completion by next fall.
