Two new courses offered by Behavioral Sciences

The RWC Behavioral Sciences Department is offering two new Junior/Senior level courses for Spring Quarter at UC’s Clifton Campus. These courses are both electives, and both are 300 level, worth three credit hours each. The first course is Youth and Society (28-SOC-389). This course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 11 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. It will analyze the status of youths and adolescents in our society, their role in our society, and the special problems that result from this role. The second course, Mediation and Conflict Resolution (28-PSYC-320), is designed to teach students interpersonal skills for resolving disputes in any environment, using the process of mediation. This course will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30-10:50 a.m. The contact faculty member for any questions about this course is Professor Marilyn Simon.
