Having trouble remembering when to use preterit and imperfect? Now you have more options than using your notes, asking your professor or looking it up online. Winnie Cairns, a former Loveland High School teacher, will be available for tutoring in the Foreign Language Lab (350 Muntz) Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ms. Cairns recently participated in a Fulbright Teacher Exchange wherein she traveled to Morocco to observe and advise students learning English. She noted that many of the high school students shared books because of the lack of educational funding.
Ms. Cairns will be able to help tutor French and Spanish students but advises that there are a few limitations to what she will be able to tutor. Not many students have come in for help yet, but she is ready and waiting!
