We have reached the half-way point to finish out the academic year. If you would like to master the skills of mathematics, take a tour of the Mathematics Lab in Room 349 Muntz Hall. The Math Lab is open to all currently enrolled RWC students on a drop-in basis. Students have the option to study individually or to work in groups. The Lab is equipped with supplementary textbooks and materials, which can be borrowed or used in the Lab. Algebra tutorial software is also available.
The Lab is staffed by Ann Spector, Math Lab Supervisor, and by other academic and student tutors. Professor Deborah Woods, of the RWC Mathematics Department, is the Math Lab Director.
There are a limited number of tutors available, so intensive one-to-one tutoring cannot be done. The tutors available will be able to answer any questions that students may have and may be able to provide individual help for limited periods of time.
The Lab hours are as follows and are subject to change:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Fridays: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Saturdays: Closed
Sundays: Closed
