The RWC chapter of Business Professionals of America group has its next meeting on February 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 351.At the next meeting, the group will be electing officers and identifying members for the state competition, March 9-10 at the Lake Campus of Wright State University.
BPA is a student organization that prepares members for the workforce through leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills, focusing on students at the secondary and post secondary level.
It offers co-curricular programs and services to its members. Student members can compete in demonstrations of their business skills while developing professional and leadership skills. There is also the opportunity to begin networking with other members from around the country.
Membership is $16, and the organization is open to all majors.
At RWC the advisors are Marilyn Grismere, Maureen Margolies, Kathy Revoir, and Mark Thomas, all faculty in the Department of Office Information Technology.
