The RWC Office of Outreach and Continuing Education will be offering a non-credit English Skills Tutorial class during Spring Quarter. The primary goal of the class will be to strengthen English grammar, reading, writing and speaking skills from a personalized study plan. In the beginning of the course, students first meet with a tutor/supervisor to develop an individualized plan of study.
Study plans also involve the use of interactive software to develop a student’s reading, listening and pronunciation skills. Course materials and a student’s work load are all built around the student’s particular needs.
Students will meet weekly in the Writing Lab with their tutors to discuss and review assignments.
Cost of the course is $200. The class, which will be taught by Professor Bonnie Johnston, will run March 26-June 1. The time of the class will be determined by individualized meetings with the tutor.
