RWC adjunct faculty member Sharon Mooney, of the Media Service Center, has completed editing a one-hour music video to be shown at the upcoming UC Women’s Film Festival. The video is complete with collective opening and closing segments featuring mostly women artists, local and mainstream. The video consists of many talented artists and segments of prior music and documentary style videos that have not been shown on mainstream television, such as MTV.
Ms. Mooney received positive support from director Tamra Davis (“Billy Madison”), who went out of her way to help her collect the necessary footage she needed for this production.
Some of the bands included in the video are The Shipping News, Lucious Jackson, Sonic Youth, Man or Astroman, Sleater-Kinney and Boss Hogg.
Sharon’s video can be seen at the Woman’s Film Festival on March 10.
