Helen Kegler, RWC Minority Affairs Officer, has been named the winner of the University of Cincinnati’s 2001 Just Community Award. This annual award is given to individuals and organizations that help promote the ideals of justice, while making the University a more fair and caring community.
Ms. Kegler has been recognized for her dedication to making the College a good environment in which to continue education.
This award was formally presented to Ms. Kegler at the University Recognition Ceremony held Sunday, May 20, at the Kingsgate Conference Center. Ms. Kegler said that she feels this award reflects RWC’s commitment to having a campus climate of inclusiveness and that the award is ideally shared by all on campus who help make it a just community.
