Nursing accrediting group to visit RWC

The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission will be visiting RWC’s Nursing Program Oct. 30-Nov. 1. The purpose of accreditation is to be sure that RWC is meeting certain educational standards in order to ensure the quality of the program. RWC’s program has been accredited since the first class graduated.

According to faculty in the program, this is a big deal because this visit happens only once every seven years.

The accrediting team of Dr. Louise Malarkey from Staten Island, New York, and Dr. Mary Tennies-Moseley from Virginia will be holding a meeting for all Nursing students on Wednesday, October 31 from 12:30-2 p.m. in Room 261/263 in the SAHB.
