On Saturday, October 6, the RWC Foreign Language Department sponsored a half-day workshop for Greater Cincinnati foreign language teachers at both the high school and college levels. Over eighty professors from thirty-five area schools attended. Guest speaker Laura Terrill, Coordinator of Foreign Language and ESL for the Parkway School District in St. Louis, Missouri, conducted the workshop “Good, Better, Best: Practices that Help You Teach Smarter!”
In it, participants learned methods to raise the writing and speaking proficiency levels of their students. They also examined ways to increase their own efficiency in planning and grading.
All attendees received a certificate upon completion of the workshop.
