It seems as though the “No Smoking” signs posted outside of the main entrance to Muntz Hall have attracted even more smokers to congregate outside the building. The signs were initially placed there because the fumes can be smelled not only by passers-by, but also in classrooms that are located above and adjacent to the alleged “smoke pit.”
The area outside Muntz obviously provides shelter from wind and cold for smokers, but creates an acrid approach to class for those RWC students who do not smoke.
The RWC Building and Grounds Committee asks that all students obey the signs and make use of the areas set aside for those students with the habit or make a school-wide New Year’s resolution.
