File electronically for financial aid

If you are planning on applying for financial aid for next year, the RWC Financial Aid office encourages you to file electronically. One reason is that FAFSA (the electronic system) is automatically checked for errors and inconsistent answers. Filing electronically also speeds up the process.

In December students should have received a PIN number to use at onestop.uc.edu, financialaid.uc.edu, or fafsa.ed.gov.

If you haven’t received your PIN you can log onto pin.ed.gov to receive one.

Parents will also need to register for a PIN since the pin numbers are electronic signatures needed for students and parents. The UC-issued PIN number is not the same as the one used for FAFSA.

If you are planning on applying for financial aid for the spring of this year, you should see a Financial Aid representative first. The office is located in Muntz Room 211. Hours are M-F 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m., with extended hours W-TH, 5-6: 30 p.m.
