On February 12 and 13, the RWC Student Government is holding special elections, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., and again on the same days, 4-7 p.m. The reason for the special elections is this: In the spring quarter the Student Government holds its regular elections, and the elected officials from that spring election will then serve the following year in the Government.
But, over the summer, some students change their mind or decide not to come back to RWC and then their positions are left empty. In fact, according to current Student Government representatives, this is the case the majority of the time. This year positions are being filled for Executive Council and two Senator positions.
If you would be interested in helping out at the booth or in any other way, you can see Diane in Room 151, Muntz Hall. For help running the booth, students will receive Bookstore gift certificates.
