These are all valid concerns. For many families home is multi-cultural and growing up can be rewarding as well as challenging. Having more than one religion, ethnicity, race, cultural belief, etc., is experienced in growing numbers of households.
The Single Parent Support Group is sponsoring a workshop on Parenting Across Cultures for parents with diversity in their families and for anyone interested.
On Wednesday, February 27, at 1 p.m., in Muntz Hall, Room 351, Diane Jordan, Vice President of Beech Acres, will facilitate a discussion on identifying issues regarding parenting across cultures.
