There are three [?] computer labs set up at RWC. Here are some helpful hints to keep from getting in trouble by the computer lab attendants or your professors. Lab hours and policies have been provided by John Weller, Network Services.The Open Lab hours are the following:
Computer Concourse: 75 Dell Computers
Mon-Thurs 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
Fri. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sat. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Mac Labs: 20 Macintosh Computers in each room (327 and 328)
Mon. 12-6 p.m. Rm. 327
Tues. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Rm. 328
Wed. 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Rm. 328
Thurs. 1 p.m.-9 p.m. Rm. 328
Fri. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Rm. 327
Sat. 12-6 p.m. Rm. 328
Lab policies:
RWC students, staff, and faculty are valid users of the computer labs.
Non-RWC users may use the computer labs if stations are available. However, RWC students have priority over non-RWC users.
Scheduled classes have priority over walk-in use.
All users must surrender a UC or other valid photo ID while using the lab.
No food or drink is allowed in any of the computer labs. This will be strictly enforced.
Printing in excess of course requirements is prohibited.
Users may not print multiple copies of a document.
Large print jobs may be re-prioritized or canceled at the discretion of lab management.
Individual users who want to use multimedia software with audio must supply and use their own headphones.
Real time network games (i.e., Doom) are not allowed. Student course work has priority over game playing.
Users needing to save files for future use MUST bring diskettes or zip disks for that purpose.
Students are NOT permitted to save files on the hard drive of a lab workstation.
The installation of any software in computer labs is strictly prohibited.
Users must comply with all pertinent licenses and contractual agreements regarding any software used on a lab workstation.

PC: Windows 98, Microsoft Office XP and numerous other software packages requested by various academic departments
Mac: Mac OS 9.1, Microsoft Office 98 and numerous other software
