The Library needs your email address. In an effort to save money and time, the University libraries are converting all library notices (overdues, hold pickup notices, etc) to email format instead of traditional snail mail. In order to do this, the libraries need to collect as many email addresses as possible from faculty, staff, and students. They have tried a few subtle tactics; now they’ve resorted to bribery, in the form of a contest.
To enter the contest, come to the library to give them your email address. It can be your UC address or any other email you use. You’ll automatically be entered to win.
Two winners will be drawn from the faculty and staff for $20 bookstore gift certificates, and one student will win a $50 gift certificate. Drawings will be held on December 13, and winners will be notified by email.
One entry per person. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.
