The RWC Library has recently hired Heather Maloney-Noyes, a new Reference and Instruction Services Librarian. Students will see her at the reference desk lending a helping hand.Working as a University of Cincinnati staff person four years ago, Ms. Maloney-Noyes obtained her Masters in Library Science. She took a job as a law librarian for a private law firm but decided that she really wanted to be in the world of academia. Her search brought her to the RWC Library.
When asked why she liked the academic world so much, Ms. Maloney-Noyes stated, “I really enjoy working with students and helping them out.” She also likes teaching students how to use the many complicated–and sometimes daunting–computer research tools.
Any student needing assistance with research papers or how to use the library may stop by the Reference Desk in the Library between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
