On Wednesday, February 12, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in honor of the Simpson’s 300th episode airing February 16, a live teleconference will be held in Muntz Hall Room 215. This session is open to all students and faculty who wish to attend. Dave Hartz, RWC Electronic Media Technology’s own animator and Visiting Assistant Professor, will start off the discussion with a short history of the show, along with interesting insights about Itchy and Scratchy, in his opinion, the best animated part of the series.
Professor Hartz will introduce Simpsons creator Matt Groening, Executive Producer Al Jean, Dan Castellaneta, and Harry Shearer, all of whom will participate in a live talk followed by a live question and answer session via the teleconference network.
Participants will also view clips of Simpsons episodes from the Museum of Television and Radio. For more information, contact Professor Dave Hartz in the Electronic Media Communications Department.
