Are trips to your local dentist creating a cavity in your wallet? If so, then you should visit the RWC Dental Hygiene Clinic. You will not only receive a top-notch professional cleaning, but it will be done for a fraction of the cost that you would pay at other dentist offices. Now through May, students and all other persons can call the Dental Hygiene Clinic to set up appointments. The appointment times will generally last between two and four hours, and follow up visits may be required due to the educational setting.
Students will be comfortable in knowing that they are putting their mouths under the care and supervision of registered dental hygienists and dentists.
What is wonderful about this service is that it is extended to all people, not just students who are enrolled at this college. Basic dental cleanings cost $10, while senior citizens pay only $2. The cost for sealants is $3 per tooth.
The cost of x-rays is also much cheaper than at your local dentist’s office: just $10 for full mouth x-rays, $7 for bitewings, and $10 for a panograph. There is no charge for a fluoride treatment, and students are always encouraged to stop by the offices for free oral education. For all restorative work, persons will be given a referral to other local dentists.
To set up an appointment, or to speak to a dentist, you should call 745-5630. Students can go directly to the offices located in Room 183 of the Science and Allied Health Building.
For your oral health as well as the students’ educational process, it is important that you keep all scheduled appointments. Keep smiling!
