Every year thousands of organizations across the country take part in a national program called the “Annual Make A Difference Day Project.” The program consist of many different activities that are aimed at helping those individuals less fortunate than you and I.
Taking part in this campaign, we at Raymond Walters conduct a clothing drive. All of the items collected are donated to the Drop Inn Center in Over the Rhine and Success Inc. (a non profit organization working to help individuals enter or re-enter the work force). No matter what kind of old clothes you have, don’t throw them in the trash or llet them take up space in your closet, donate them to someone who needs your help.
There will be a donation bin located in SAHB, Muntz Hall, and the Flory Center from October 13 – 24. If you have any questions, contact the Student Life Center at 745-5773. If you don’t have clothes to donate, but still want to participate, contact the Student Life Center to become a helper.
