The recently assembled “Partners in Justice” student interest group gained official organizational status from the University on January 8. This group was created to assist members of the Pre-Criminal Justice program by providing guidance, assistance, and leadership to new students of the major.
One of the ways that “Partners in Justice” plans to help, is by pairing freshmen with sophomores to offer the newer students help with things such as where to find math labs, writing labs, and who to contact for academic advising. In addition, there will be study groups, community service activities, meetings, and fundraising.
According to the organization’s President, Sabrina Sharp, the requirements to join this organization are: a minimum GPA of 3.0, be enrolled in the Pre-Criminal Justice program, and a willingness to make the organization a success. If you fit the description, contact Sabrina Sharp at Sharpsm8@aol.com about becoming a member.
