Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
As reviewed by: Naomi LiebsonFinally Jim Carey does a decent movie. Strangely I didn’t think he had it in him. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is about a man who’s girlfriend has him erased from her memory after a fight. To help get over her he has the same procedure done to him.

Kate Winslet did a wonderful job playing Jim Carey’s eccentric girlfriend Clementine. The only flaw in the movie comes from this union. As Mr. Carey seems a little old to be in a relationship with the blue haired 30 something year old actress. It doesn’t take long to get over however. As both do a wonderful acting job.

Another surprise is Elijah Wood, last time we saw him he was returning to the Shire with Samwise Gamgee, Merry, and Perrigrin Took. Last time he was loveable, and cute and slightly haunted. In Eternal Sunshine he’s still cute like a Hobbit, only now he’s a little creepy as he steals Kate Winslets underwear, and talks incessently about getting laid.

All in all Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a great film. And this is from a woman who hates everything. Mark my words if it doesn’t get nominated for something next year. This movie is one of the few reasons to go to the movies this spring.
