Chat With a Librarian

If there is one thing you do a lot of in college, it is writing reports. Every student has to do them, and finding the information and conducting the research can be difficult. This is especially true with the confusing research tools we find on-line. As a result, many of us wish we could have a librarian help us at home like they do at school. Well, your wish has been granted.
I am sure most of you do not know about the Chat with a Librarian feature on the UC web site. This link allows you to directly chat with a librarian while you are at home.
If you are having problems on the Academic Search Premier or the full text journals, you can ask someone who can answer all of your questions, and even help you find exactly what you are looking for.
You may not be connected with a University of Cincinnati librarian (unless there is one available), but you will be connected with someone who knows the system and can help you with your problems.
If you are interested in using this feature all you have to do is go to the UC web site (www.uc.edu) and then go to the “Current Students” link. Once you get there, you will find the Library link under Educational Programs & Resources. From there you will get to the UC library page and at the bottom left hand corner of the page you will see a link that says “Chat With a Librarian.” Just follow the directions from there, and in no time you will be chatting away with a well informed librarian. If you need further help contact any of the librarians and they will give you the guidance you need.
