Graduation is almost here

Many of the students at Raymond Walters will not be returning this fall. Not because they did not do well or because they are dropping out, but because they are finally graduating.
Graduation is a very important step, of course, and it is the gateway to life in the real world.
Graduation is also a time for students to unwind and finally breathe a sigh of relief. One the more fun ways to let off steam is to attend a party. Since parties are a huge part of college life, finding one won’t be hard. Chances are you are throwing one yourself.
Don’t panic; this is not going to be a lecture, but merely a word of advice. While you can always have fun at a party, make sure you are responsible. The last thing anyone wants is to have to do a tribute to someone who was unable to make it to graduation because of a drinking and driving accident, or because someone did something to get their diploma taken away.
It would be a real disappointment to have something you’ve worked so hard for disappear because of a simple mistake. Go ahead, have fun. You deserved it. Just do it responsibly so the moment becomes a great memory and not the last one.
