Prepare Now for Success in the Fall

There are so many ways that college is a completely different experience than high school. There are more people, bigger classes and harder work. There is not much you can do about the number of people, but there is something you can do about the harder work.
Our campus is offering a study skills class over the summer to help improve your chances of success in the fall. The class (Study Skills I) will be offered during the second half of the Summer quarter, from July 28th to August 29th on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:40 PM.
It may not sound like the best way to spend your summer nights but if you think about everything you will gain from this class you will realize how beneficial it will be.
They teach you skills such as getting organized, managing your time, taking notes, reading textbooks, taking tests, improving your memory, setting goals, and managing stress.

If you are interested in taking this course, or learning more about it, contact Mary McClellan at 754-5730 or send her an email at
