The RWC Faculty are in the process of approving a sweeping set of revisions to the Faculty By-Laws.Professor Marisue Naber, Chair of the RWC Faculty Executive Committee, said it has taken one year to plan and rewrite the new By-Laws. Faculty meetings since the beginning of Fall Quarter have been approving the changes through a 47-Step Action Plan, which should be completed on January 27. She said the committee and the faculty have been slowly working through the process together.
The final vote at the faculty meeting on January 27 will require a 2/3 majority vote. Naber believes that these new by-laws help to strengthen the voice of the faculty and bring the by-laws to current standards.
