Cincinnati baseball: Bearcats and Reds both under .500

The UC Bearcats baseball team ended their season with an 18-8 loss handed to them by South Florida. The Bearcats ended the season with a 25-30 overall record and a 10-18 record in Conference USA play. The 25 wins they accomplished this year are the club’s most since 2002, when they won 26 games. Their ten wins in Conference USA are also the most since 2002, when they won 11 games.

It appears that it may be more interesting to go to a UC baseball game than spend a minimum of ten dollars on tickets and pay $6 a beer to watch the Reds play. The Reds are now officially tied for the worst team in their division.

Their record as of May 23 ties them for last in the National League Central with the Houston Astros with a record of 15-28. They have won only 35 percent of their games. Who can’t wait until Bengals season?
