The Institution for Learning in Retirement is having its 4th annual exhibit of fine arts and photographs on Saturday, October 22, and Sunday, October 23, in Muntz Hall, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.The exhibit will feature more than 170 photos by 17 photographers with an emphasis on creative expression and artistic interpretation. There will be a preview reception on Friday evening, October 21, 6-9 p.m. Selected photographs at the reception will be offered at a silent auction that will serve as a fundraiser to benefit the Tri-State Parkinson’s Wellness Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association. Light refreshments and wine will be served and musical entertainment will be provided.
Work by the club photographers can be found in numerous private collections as well as in permanent collections at the Cincinnati Art Museum, and several photos in the exhibit have also been used in print advertising.
