Library gets a summer makeover

Although for most of us the year has just begun, RWC’s dedicated library staff has been working all summer to bring students and faculty an improved experience. For starters, the library website has been completely revised. Many new pages have been created (notably the subject resources pages), while older ones have been revised. The site has also been ADA upgraded, allowing those with visual disabilities to access the site without difficulty. The update also means that if you have bookmarked any library pages in the past you may want to go back and re-find the corresponding pages.

A new feature of the library site is a “Faculty Resources” page (Under Quick Links). Here you can find links to faculty handbooks and college committee meeting minutes.

Along with the web update, a new service is being implemented. Electronic reserves (E-reserves) make it possible to provide access to many reserve items online either through Blackboard or through the E-Reserves link on the website.

The new location for the library’s website is http://www.libraries.uc.edu/libraries/rwc/. According to library staff, the updates are part of a continuing effort to make the educational experience a pleasant one for all users.

If you have any questions about the website, E-Reserves, or the library in general, stop by to see the RWC library staff.
