Greene School helps honor King

RWC welcomed the Fifth Grade Student Chorus of E. H. Greene School (shown in photo) on January 12, as they performed songs from their annual winter choral concert. Led by music teacher, Mrs. D. Jackson, the students performed traditional favorites. The students sang “I Have a Dream” and “The Underground Railroad,” which was written by CCM Professor of Music Education, Rene Boyer. These two songs were the students’ way of paying tribute to the activist and the man, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., whose life and accomplishments were celebrated on January 16.
