The Seventh Annual Multi-Cultural Council Forum will be held in Muntz 156, February 14, as part of RWC’s celebration of African American History Month, with a lecture presented by RWC Associate Professor of History John E. Douglass, Ph.D. The lecture starts at 12:30 p.m. and will last until 2 p.m.Professor Douglass will discuss “A Narrative of the Most Remarkable Particulars In the Life of James Albert Ukawsaw Groniosaw An African Prince, Written by Himself.” Released in 1772, it was the first slave narrative to be published in the English language.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
