Student Life contributes to homeless

On Jan. 11, Sheila Mattingly, RWC Student Life Coordinator, and her staff organized and provided a donation drive to help the homeless in Cincinnati. Home-made chili was served and artist Iddy Carey showcased her art. Donations included toiletries and cash. The drive was split into a two-part program, one for day students and another for evening students. Mattingly termed the drive a “grand success.”

All donations were delivered to the Drop-Inn Center, Mary Magdalene House, and St. Francis-St. Joseph House, all of which are shelters for the homeless.

The largest portion of donations were sent to the Drop-Inn Center, because it had the largest number of people in need.
