The RWC Study Skills Lab is offering free help to anyone who needs it. Lab staff offer free tutoring in areas including English (reading and vocabulary help), science, psychology, sociology and many other academic areas. They do not offer help in areas such as mathematics, accounting, economics or foreign languages, but there are other labs and help resources available for those courses.
If you don’t need academic tutoring but are struggling with your study skills, there is hope for you too. The study skills lab offers information and assistance with organization, time management, note-taking, textbook reading, and test anxiety.
Also available, if you don’t have time to spare, are handouts on “Test Anxiety,” “Coping with Test Anxiety,” “How to Cure Exam Nerves,” and a booklet titled “Test Taking Tips.”
