For those curious about America’s current involvement in Iraq, RWC History Professor Lynn Rigsbee is going to be presenting a lecture on the Middle East at Wilmington College. Professor Rigsbee will be discussing such questions as whether our involvement is making it a global conflict and whether it is a civil war. In other news from the Department of History, Philosophy, and Art History, Professor John McNay isn’t going to be teaching at RWC this fall.
In fact, he’s not even going to be teaching on this side of the Atlantic. He’ll be heading off to Hamburg, Germany, to teach in a different culture.
