Open House a success

On April 27, you might have seen new faces on campus, because the Open House held in Muntz Auditorium that evening was a success, according to Chris Powers, RWC Director of Enrollment Services. Attendence was at a normal level, with 90 people in total, 26 of them being new applicants. The new applicant total was about two percent higher than normal, Powers said.

At the Open House, RWC Admissions Counselor Angelica Kennedy provided the audience with a presentation that covered the many different facets of RWC, including financial aid and the application process.

After the general presentations there was a question and answer session. Next, students were released to academic sessions, where they could choose a major that interested them. From there a professor or academic advisor led them in a discussion and provided facts on that particular major.

With a high number of prosepective students attending, we’ll be sure to see new faces at RWC next year.
