RWC hosted their Student Awards Ceremony on May 19 in Muntz Auditorium. The event, hosted by Student Government, gave opportunity for the various departments to present awards to students. Assistant Dean Pamela Lineback kicked off this event with a welcome speech, which quickly led into a night of RWC honoring some of its best students of the 2005-2006 school year.
Some of the various awards given were Awards for Outstanding Service, Student Government Awards, Who’s who Among Students in American Junior Colleges, Alpha Beta Gamma awards, Academic Awards, and Recognition of this year’s Honor Graduates.
This year’s recipient of Student of the Year went to Aimee McLean, while the Who’s Who award went to Joseph Giordullo. RWC also honored 54 honor graduates.
