Cassini takes third at BPA national conference

On May 10-14 the RWC Business Professionals of America student organization traveled to Orlando, Florida, to compete at the National Leadership Conference. Zac Cassini came away with a third place finish in VB.NET and was a national finalist in Database Applications.

Chuck Kromer participated in the National Leadership Academy and three days of intense leadership workshops. He also served as a conference intern.

Business Professionals of America is an interdisciplinary student organization open to part-time and full-time students. You must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 to be invited to join.

Each year students have the opportunity to compete at state and national conferences. According to RWC Professor Maureen Margolies, Chair of the Department of Office Information Technology, these conferences, along with bi-weekly on-campus meetings, allow students to develop a multitude of interpersonal and technical skills.
