RWC study abroad programs continue to evolve. In the summer of 2007, no less than four different study abroad opportunities will be available to students with the urge for adventure. One will be a totally new course, “History of Psychology,” which will include one week of travel in various parts of Europe, including Germany and Switzerland. The course will be taught by Professor Julie Yonkers.
For the third straight year, there will also be a “Spanish Language in Heredia” trip to Costa Rica, led by Professor Debbie Themudo. This program requires a year of Spanish as a pre-requisite.
In addition, there will be a three-week trip to Germany, led by Professor Debbie Page. This course requires a year of German as a pre-requisite.
Finally, the RWC British Study Abroad Program will offer a new pair of courses, in history and literature, focusing on WWII and the Holocaust, taught by professors Lee Baker and Sue Sipple. This three-week program will include the traditional stay at spectacular Harlaxton Manor in England before the group travels to the Czech Republic and Poland to visit sites of concentration camps.
