Area college students, faculty and staff can enjoy a free evening of art and activities on Thursday, October 26 at the Taft Museum in downtown Cincinnati.College students-and teachers-can take a break from hitting the books and head to the Taft Museum of Art for a special College Night.
The event is free with a college or university ID.
This “art mixer” is a great chance for visitors–students, faculty and staff–to see or get reacquainted with the Museum. The evening will include music, food, and soft drinks, and a scavenger hunt through the galleries, including the special exhibition, “Michael Scott: Farny Fables.”
Kendall Bruns, an Art Academy of Cincinnati alumni, will supply the music for the night. Bruns is the DJ at bright lights every Saturday night at alchemize.

Normally, student admission is $5 with ID. Student/teacher memberships at the museum are $35.
The Taft Museum of Art is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $7, $5 for seniors over 60 and students and free to everyone on Wednesday. Children under 18 are free. Parking is available.
