Hybrid Psych classes to combine classroom and on-line activities

Introduction to Psychology I (28 PSYC 101 701), taught by Professor Diane Feibel, will be offered as a hybrid course for the first time during Winter Quarter 2007. Hybrid courses meet 50 percent of the time in the classroom and 50 percent through online exercises, discussions, and out of class activities.

The first class meeting is Thurs., January 4, from 2-4:40 p.m. Additional on-campus class meeting dates are Jan. 11 and 25; February 8 and and March 1 and 8.

During the first class session, Professor Feibel will provide an overview of the technology used in the course. “If students are not familiar with word processing, Internet searching, email or Blackboard, then this might not be the class for them,” Professor Feibel said.

Attendance at every class meeting is required. Contact Professor Feibel at 745-5765 or Outreach and Continuing Education at 745-5776 for more information.
