DinoBabies, the new “musical fossil fantasy” from DinoRock, will be performed at RWC on Saturday, April 7, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. as the final show for the 2006-2007 ARTrageous Saturdays series. Featuring a little boy named Nelson, along with the Dream Weaver guides and his baby dinosaur friends, this song-fest helps kids learn that all fears can be defeated. The human-sized puppets seem to come to life as they dance, sing, and zip around the stage, enticing kids with their energy, enthusiasm and zany sense of humor.
National leader in children’s entertainment for more than 15 years, DinoRock Productions, Inc. has performed theater for millions of children nationwide and has sold over 1,000,000 award-winning audio recordings around the world. The life-sized, colorful prehistoric dinosaurs are the creations of Emmy Award-Winning puppet designer Ingrid Crepeau and Parents’ Choice Magazine Winner Michele Valeri.
The appeal of the DinoRock characters and the nationally recognized songs by Michel Valeri, Michael Stein and Joe Pipik have shaped a troupe of players devoted to creating theater pieces for both children and their parents.
This performance group for family audiences introduces children to the world of science, particularly the one subject that seems to excite everyone’s imagination: dinosaurs.
