The RWC Student Affairs Committee met on Monday, April 23, and discussions included several interesting topics. Committee members were asked to share their opinions on a new Gateway Program offered by Scarlet Oaks that could mean less space here if RWC wishes to participate. The Committee also discussed opening up a Blackboard link or website for students who are interested in easily finding information found in or for things like RWC Handbooks, orientation, and student organizations. The Committee also discussed what options are available for keeping Food Services here on campus open later for the students. This issue has been discussed at several meetings and, even though it does not look like it will be accomplished, the Committee has worked on trying to find a way that students don’t have to leave campus after 2 p.m. to find food.
If students are interested in having concerns heard, they can contact Student Government so that those concerns might be addressed at the next meeting. Contact Student Government by emailing studgovt@ucrwcu.rwc.uc.edu or visiting the Student Government office on the second floor of Muntz.
