Several upgrades in store for Muntz this summer

Here’s a preview of changes coming to Muntz Hall over the summer. According to the Facilities Management office, the summer project for the second floor of Muntz will include several key renovations. The particular renovations include those of classrooms 253 and 254; the removal of the biology bench from 257; and the installation of classroom electronics (overhead projectors, etc.) in 253, 256, 257, and 258.

Rooms 253 and 254 will see the updating of lighting, heating and air conditioning, as well as an update in the fire systems.

Other aspects of the summer project include miscellaneous painting and stairwell work, as well as the replacement of boiler number three in Muntz.

The renovations are currently scheduled to take place in July and should be done by the beginning of the Autumn Quarter.
