Fundraiser for groundbreaking documentary here Nov. 13

On November 13, at 7-9 p.m. at RWC, Matthew Flickstein, a distinguished author and teacher of meditation and Buddhism, will give a talk on “The Seven Concentric Circles of Spiritual Development.” He will offer a dynamic model that describesthe stages of spiritual development that are common to all spiritual paths. According to Flickstein, all these paths lead to the same place-wisdom and clarity of mind, open heart, and awareness of unity and non-duality.

Flickstein will also talk about “Voices of Truth,” the documentary film he is now making that will feature interviews with recognized spiritual leaders from 15 different traditions about their personal journeys and their understanding of how to achieve peace in today’s world. Flickstein says the film will reflect the unified vision of spiritual truth from the perspective of those who have witnessed its depths.

This is a fund raising event to support the making of “Voices of Truth.” Flickstein says the project is expected to reach its fullest potential through the “generous contributions of those who resonate with its purpose and vision.”

“There is no donation that is too small,” he adds. “The key is that you and others involved believe in the project and how it can affect world peace.” Contributions are tax deductible.

The schedule will includes15 minutes for meditation/contemplation, 45 minutes for the talk, 30 minutes for information about the film, 15 minutes for Q&A, and about 15 minutes for socializing. Pre-registration is not necessary, but it is requested that those who plan to attend should contact Mike Roos at 513-745-5764 or email michael.roos@uc.edu.
