As the weather turns cold and treacherous, please keep in mind a very special and simple way to help the homeless. All you have to do is collect and donate the unopened free small soaps, shampoos and other hygiene products that are supplied by hotels and other establishments during your travels.
During the first week of Winter Quarter, January 7-11, look for the collection bins in the Muntz and SAHB lobbies where you can place donations.
