Dr. Ionas Rus is the new professor in the RWC Department of History, Art History, Philosophy, and Political Science. He is currently teaching American Government I and American Issues and Problems I. He says he likes to keep his grading fair, but describes his system as unique. This is his first quarter here, and he describes his experience so far as very satisfying and enjoyable. Professor Rus can’t decide which is his favorite class this quarter. He describes them as equal and is impressed by students in both classes because of their high knowledge and desire to learn. He loves the class participation from his students.
He encourages his students “to make good arguments” when appropriate in classes.
Next year he plans to teach International Politics and International Relations. “Both of these classes are taught on Main Campus,” he says, “but I would like to be the first one to teach these here next year!
