The Annual “Make A Difference Day” is later this month, and RWC Student Life is sponsoring a drive in commemoration of this national outreach initiative. This year’s initiative will include the annual clothing drive as well as an added feature (prompted by student interest)–a collection for the newly-opened SPCA Cincinnati, located on Conrey Road in Sharonville. The collection bins are already out, and the drive concludes Monday, October 27.
Student Life is collecting all types of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing to benefit the Drop Inn Center Shelter House and the Freestore Foodbank. They are also collecting career-oriented or work-appropriate clothing to support the Freestore’s “Back on Track” program. Reports indicate that this program is in dire need of men’s work clothing as it works with several entities to get the unemployed back into the work force.
All donations should be clean and in ready-to wear condition.
