Starting this fall, RWC Student Services is offering scholarships to high school graduates who ranked in the top 25 percent of their class. Sixty-six students have already qualified and have received $500 for each academic quarter. The scholarship will continue for next year to qualifying incoming students.
A mentoring program is also available for the scholarship recipients. The mentors consist of staff and faculty, and each mentor will have one of the 66 students. Mentors will meet regularly with the students to help them cope and be successful in college.
