Music: The Top Three Kaiser Chiefs songs

For this issue I am reviewing the band Kaiser Chiefs. I chose three of my favorite songs of theirs from three different albums. The Kaiser Chiefs have always drawn my attention, mainly because of their British roots and enjoyable and catchy songs. The first song I would like to review is “Never Miss a Beat,” coming off of their newest album, “Off With Their Heads,” which was realeased in March of this year.

The song has a lot of repeated lyrics but has different verses and different instrumentals to catch the listener unexpectedly, but it’s a perfect technique in this song.

My second favorite Kaiser Chiefs song is “I Predict a Riot.” The song comes from the album “Employment,” which was released in March of 2005. This song includes a bunch of solo guitar parts, while the vocal is done with the usual repeated catchy phrase, but the phrase changes each time at the end. Other instruments and synthesizers as well are used to create the perfect song and beats.

For the third and final song I chose “Ruby,” from the album “Yours Truly, Angry Mob.” “Ruby” has perfect vocals and an array of instruments. The song also includes a solo and a choir followed by each other almost each time ruby is said, creating a cloud of vocals and sound with an awesome beat throughout the song.

I would say that there are many songs that Kaiser Chiefs have played that I liked, but these are my top three due to the different instruments, vocals, and harmonies, giving them a different music appeal to each listener. The Kaiser Chiefs will continue to make great music and are still a young and upcoming band.

There is much to expect from the band because they are so talented and artistic that their music keeps me wanting more new music and catchy beats.
