The year 2009 marks the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of Darwin’s “On the Origin of Species.” To recognize and celebrate the discoveries and life of Charles Darwin, RWC will host several special events.
The RWC Darwin series of events is part of a University-wide initiative to celebrate Darwin’s contributions and influence on society. On February 12, in Muntz Hall Room 170 from 1-4 p.m. there will be a series of Darwin movies on display as well as a birthday cake for the 200th anniversary of his birth.
